This is because the phone is not sold through the service provider. But the Google to sell online.

According to analyst firm Flurry Inc., Google only sold 80,000 units during the first month of the device. The number of sales is much smaller when Motorola Droid launched into the market with 525,000 units and the amount of 600,000 units on the iPhone the first months of their sales.

As written Ubergizmo, (February 7, 2010), this speculation caused Google to sell this phone online, so far Google does not offer for sale directly through the service provider. In addition, Nexus One less advertised by Google.

But the problem is solved, with the latest updates, Nexus is no longer the subject of derision for those who had envied by him presence.

Latest update does Google include some improvement here and there, especially to improve the ability Android-based smart phone is in 3G connection. Because earlier, 3G connectivity is less than the maximum Nexus to become one of the main issues to weaken Nexus Multi-touch capabilities than that.

Latest updates can be downloaded directly from the server Nexus, of course, Google does not forget to give notice for Nexus users to download and install updates it.

As reported by Ubergizmo, (2/2/10), provides updated list of new applications can be downloaded directly from the device, where it also provides the necessary application menu.

Among the applications are udadate Google Maps: Maps application is updated to the new version, Google Maps 3.4, which will include, Starred items that can be synchronized with maps.google.com – Access your favorite places from phone or computer. Then also provides a search history of maps, to facilitate user searches where he had previously visited the maps. There is also a night mode, which allows you to see the maps at night or while driving.

Another feature is diudate Pinch-to-zoom function: to menzoom Browser, Gallery and Maps applications. And of course, 3G connectivity, capacity and access speed.

Well, well, if it isn’t the year of the affordable touchscreen bar – the Samsung S5230 Star sold over 5 million units since its introduction in May. And Samsung expect that number to reach 10 million by November.

Ambitious? Definitely! But the S5230 Star was the fastest Samsung handset in reaching the 5 million mark and if you look at the numbers of units sold month per month – 10 million seems entirely within reach.

In its premiere month of May the Star sold 700 thousand units, 900 thousand the next month and the numbers for July and August were nearly double that – 1.6 and 1.8 million respectively. The Star’s rival, the LG Cookie, also reached the 5-million milestone in July but it had a head start of several months. It too is foreseen by its creators to reach 10 million sales soon.

Europe is the biggest importer of the Samsung Star, with more than half of the units sold there (2.8 million). It topped the sales lists in France, the UK, the Netherlands and Italy.

It seems that the Samsung S5230 Star has the right formula for success – light on the cost and heavy on the features. It offers a 3″ WQVGA touchscreen with Samsung’s widget-enabled TouchWiz and a 3 megapixel camera with smile detection. It can handle microSD cards up to 16GB and with DNSe technology it’s a music player in its own right. The document viewer doesn’t hurt either.

We are not quite fans of the design but those new optional colors seem to liven up things around that Star – hit the source link below to check out the new paintjobs.

The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2 isn’t even out yet, and the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X5 concept is already released, making us wonder what kind of wormhole we stepped into to miss the two models in between. Surprisingly enough, for a concept that is touted to be a couple of generations ahead, the specifications aren’t anything groundbreaking although it does feature a futuristic looking QWERTY sliding keyboard. Other features are plain vanilla such as the 3.5″ touchscreen display, HD video recording capability and a 12-megapixel camera that clearly is already available in other modern smartphones of today. Well, at least the Chrome Silver, Ocean Blue and Sunny Orange offer some semblance of class, but we would expect the real Sony Ericsson XPERIA X5 to be far more advanced by the time it is introduced to the market.

Ok S60 5th edition fans, here you go: another touchscreen Nokia slate to admire before it could be leaked by Eldar Murtazin. The new 5230 brings a 3.2-inch touchscreen riding HSDPA data, A-GPS, 2 megapixel camera, microSD expansion, and Bluetooth 2.0 with the promise of 33 hours of music pumped over its 3.5-mm audio jack. It will launch in two flavors in Q4: a €149 model and €259 Comes with Music version. Backside pic and video demonstrating the importance of long pink finger nails for navigating its resistive touchscreen after the break.

Note to Nokia: you really should review your marketing videos more carefully unless the severe lag / unresponsiveness seen when scrolling at 36 seconds is a feature

The fourth handset of the Black Label Series boasts a distinctive 4.0-inch wide screen high-definition LCD with an 800 by 345 pixel resolution for a superb viewing quality. The wide screen breaks away from conventional screen designs with a 21:9 aspect ratio for a panoramic, cinema-like quality and optimal mobile computing experience.

With the enlarged screen, users will experience a surprisingly convenient and efficient mobile environment. Browsing the Internet is made incredibly easy because with 800 pixels at one’s disposal, there is no need to scroll horizontally to read entire web pages. The 4.0-inch display also features a Dual Screen UI that can efficiently display two different types of content simultaneously.
